MA Controls ZERO
range
The ZERO range
from MA Controls is an evolving set of instrumentation
designed with the sanitary needs of the
pharmaceutical, biotechnological and water
industries in mind. Each meter in the range
incorporates zero head loss and bug traps in its design making them
among the most sanitary
instruments on the market to date.
Normally a pH meter has to be calibrated daily to
ensure accuracy is maintained.
The MA Controls
triplicate pH meter looks after itself.
It measures pH on
line from its three electrodes, then averages
the readings.
If one electrode
gives a figure significantly different from the
others, the unit sends an alarm message alerting
the operator and identifying the deviant
electrode.
It then continues
operating by averaging the other two – so it
never runs uncalibrated.
Accordingly the
meter needs operator attention only when it
alarms, and accurate calibration is
uninterrupted.
Most conventional pH flow cells are designed
with electrodes that protrude into the flow
stream, causing substantial bug traps and
turbulence in the flow stream. The MA Controls pH
meter is designed with a flat-tipped glass
electrode which sits flush with the
straight-through internal
bore, offering both a highly accurate reading, an undisturbed flow stream and a highly
sanitary flow cell.
