CELL-tainer®
CT1
The CT1 is our compact, single-use benchtop bioreactor, designed to provide a flexible and efficient platform for research, process development and small-scale production. Using our patented 2D rocking technology, the CT1 delivers effective mixing and oxygen transfer while maintaining low shear and minimising foaming.
With a working volume of approximately 0.2–3 L, the CT1 is well suited to a wide range of applications, including microbial, mammalian, plant and fungal cultures. Its adjustable rocking angle and speed allow the system to be tailored to different cell types and process requirements.
The CT1 uses gamma-sterilised single-use bags, helping to reduce contamination risks and eliminate the need for cleaning and sterilisation between batches. Integrated sensors and intuitive control software enable straightforward monitoring and control of key process parameters. Compact, easy to operate and highly adaptable, the CT1 provides a practical entry point into BIONET’s CELL-tainer® platform and supports seamless process development and scale-up.
CT2
The CT2 is our single-use bioreactor designed for flexible and efficient process development, scale-up and small-scale production. Building on our patented 2D rocking technology, the CT2 provides gentle, low-shear cultivation while delivering effective mixing and oxygen transfer.
With flexible working volumes and a range of single-use cultivation bags, the CT2 can be adapted to different process requirements and applications. It is suitable for a variety of cell culture and bioprocessing applications, making it a versatile platform for research and development.
The single-use design helps minimise contamination risks while eliminating the need for cleaning and sterilisation between batches, simplifying operation and reducing turnaround times. Integrated sensors and intuitive process control enable reliable monitoring of key parameters throughout cultivation.
Compact, practical and scalable, the CT2 provides an effective bridge between laboratory development and larger-scale processing, allowing processes to be developed and optimised before progressing to production-scale systems.
CT3
The CT3 is our largest single-use CELL-tainer® bioreactor, designed for production-scale bioprocessing with working volumes from 30 to 150 L. Its patented 2D rocking technology provides efficient mixing and oxygen transfer with low shear, supporting microbial, mammalian, plant and other cell cultures. The flexible, customisable platform enables reliable scale-up while reducing cleaning, sterilisation and contamination risks associated with traditional systems.
